Hi All i am a little confused, which is not hard! I recently bought The Hunger Games BR complete with ultraviolet digital download.
Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation. Can be as long as needed for an effective UV dose to be reached. Shielded or are in environments that limit.
It does say share with up to 5 friends, so i thought that would be one for me, five for friends ie a total of 6 people. I redeemed one copy onto my flixster account and gave the code to a friend to redeem a copy. It came up limit exceeded. I have flixster on /3 devices, but thought it was per account not per device. Is there anyway i can fine out as and when these codes were redeemed etc.

I don't like UltraViolet either - I used to buy BluRays with digital copies for iTunes (or Windows media player), then the major studios shifted for the most part to UV copies only with the discs. I can't play UV via my AppleTV (at least without messing around with Airplay), and really don't want to use competing systems. I think this was simply the movie studios wanting to take some power away from Apple/iTunes which as usual with studios exercising their 'rights management' only causes annoyance to the customer who actually pays for their movies, while those who get them nefariously carry on regardless.
In some ways it makes me wonder about the future of my purchases from iTunes if the public eventually switch to UV in years to come. The one area where UV is a plus for many is that it will work on Android phones whereas Apple do not currently offer that. AC May 10, 2014 10:18 PM. From a couple of searches in the past I don't think you can still get itunes codes for UV movies - they used to offer people an itunes code if they didn't want UV but that no longer seems to be the case. You should send the UV people some feedback too. I don't understand why the UV pages still have 'Beta' plastered all over them - perhaps they think their own system isn't ready for prime time yet.
They were supposed to be releasing a 'common file format' whcih allowed downloads to be made and copied from one device to another - see: ) No idea if that is yet available or just planned.
